At Feida Solar Energy, we want every customer to feel confident in their purchase. In line with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) and other South African laws, we provide a fair and transparent refund, return, and exchange process.
Conditions for Returns
A product may be returned if it meets the following conditions:
- It is returned within 14 days of receipt (for online purchases, in line with the CPA cooling-off period).
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
- Proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) is provided.
- The return has been authorised in advance by Feida Solar Energy.
Responsibility for Return Costs
- If the return is due to defective, damaged, or incorrect goods supplied by Feida Solar Energy, we will cover the return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to customer choice (e.g., change of mind), the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
Return Handling & Restocking Fee
- All returns are subject to inspection.
- For non-defective returns (e.g., customer preference), a handling/restocking fee of up to 10% may apply to cover administrative and logistics costs.
- Products returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Damaged or Defective Goods
- Customers must report any damaged or defective items within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@feidasolarenergy.com with photos and details.
- If approved, Feida Solar Energy will arrange collection and either repair, replace, or refund the item in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and the CPA.
Exchanges
- Customers may request an exchange for another product of equal or greater value.
- If the replacement product costs more, the customer must pay the difference.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Lost Parcels
- If a parcel is lost during return shipping handled by Feida Solar Energy’s courier partner, we will investigate and issue a replacement or refund.
- If the customer chooses their own courier, Feida Solar Energy will not be liable for lost or damaged parcels.

Shipping Considerations
- Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Feida Solar Energy will not accept responsibility for damage caused by inadequate packaging of returned items.
Refund Processing
- Once the returned item has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed.
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method (EFT, card, or other).
- Refunds are typically processed within 3 business days of approval.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, except where the return is due to an error on Feida Solar Energy’s part.

- If an order has already been dispatched, cancellation will be treated as a return request, subject to this policy’s conditions.
